What is Future Gua Sha Facial?

Just like our other Future facials, the new Future Gua Sha Facial begins with the makeup removal step.

We’ll use Future Cosmetics Boutique’s Clear Make Up Remover and Flash 10 Botanical Deep Cleanser to cleanse the face first. Our esthetician then preps your skin with Future Lotion Floral No. 2, a gentle AHA and BHA lotion that sweeps away dead skin cells, promoting cell renewal.

The next step: A 10-minute dullness busting mask, using the popular Future Mask Heritage. Based on your skin’s needs, our therapist applies the Future Golden Touch Oil and Future Cream Extreme on your face for a welcome massage. 

Here comes the highlight of this facial — the gua sha step. Simply relax your facial muscles, body and senses as our therapist uses a gua sha tool and gently glides it across your facial contours. This helps to promote better blood and chi (or energy) flow, and flush out excess fluid to minimise water retention on your face. 

Following that, your skin is treated to a 10-minute LED yellow light treatment which is hailed for its age- and acne-fighting properties.  Our therapist then blends together the Future Soft Treatment Gel, Future Beauty Drops and Future Microlife C Serum or E, and applies a thick layer over a fabric mask on the skin.

Allow our therapist’s soothing and calming strokes to guide you through the rest of your facial. You might even find yourself drifting off to sleep before waking up to a more sculpted, defined and glowy face.

Note: Gua sha is not recommended for those who have active acne breakouts, clotting disorders, and on blood thinners. Please consult our facialists who will assist you to decide if this facial is suitable for your skin.
