The story begins in 2006, along East Coast Road. Freia began modestly, with a clear purpose — to provide thoughtful, results-oriented aesthetic care in an approachable and sincere environment. Rather than following a rigid plan, the team focused on understanding clients’ needs and evolving alongside them.
By 2012, that evolution took a more specialised turn. Under Dr Harold Ma’s guidance, Freia expanded its focus to hair restoration, an area closely linked to self-image and confidence. This shift marked a move toward more targeted, medically driven treatments that addressed both surface concerns and underlying causes.
A year later, in 2013, Freia stepped into a new chapter with its move to Wisma Atria. The relocation signalled more than a change of address. It reflected Freia’s growing presence, stronger identity, and the trust of an expanding client base.
Then came 2016, a defining moment. Freia celebrated its 10th anniversary with the official launch of Freia Aesthetics as it is known today. The rebranding focused on refinement, offering a clearer articulation of values and a more cohesive expression of expertise, aligning the brand with its ongoing journey.
At this point, Freia’s journey began to take shape as two closely connected but distinct entities:
Freia Medical — focused on doctor-led treatments such as hair restoration and advanced aesthetic procedures
Freia Aesthetics — dedicated to non-doctor-led treatments including facials, hair, and body wellness services
Both share the same philosophy of personalised care, but serve different treatment needs under a unified brand vision. Growth continued, measured but intentional.
In 2018, Freia Aesthetics expanded to Raffles City, bringing its signature facial, hair, and body treatments to a wider audience in the heart of Singapore.
By 2020, Freia Medical unveiled its flagship at Royal Square Novena, strengthening its position in doctor-led aesthetic and hair restoration care. This marked a key step in expanding medical expertise in a more dedicated clinical environment.
Expansion beyond Singapore followed. In 2023, Freia Aesthetics made its debut in Kuala Lumpur at The Five @ KPD, extending its personalised non-medical aesthetic care beyond Singapore.
In 2024, Freia Aesthetics further expanded with Marina Square in Singapore, while also introducing Freia Men’s Health, reflecting a more holistic approach to wellness across different client needs.
